We’re excited to support your business through our referral and partnership opportunities! To keep everything clear, consistent, and aligned, we ask that you follow a few simple guidelines when using our brand name, referring to our membership, or communicating your connection to The Social Trainer.

Our relationship is referral-based, not a co-branded service, unless explicitly agreed upon in writing. All branding, copy, and visuals should clearly reflect this distinction to maintain transparency and brand integrity for both parties.

Naming

You may refer to us as:

  • The Social Trainer
  • The Social Trainer community
  • The Social Trainer members

Avoid using abbreviations like “TST” unless you are already familiar with our brand. Always capitalize “The Social Trainer.”

Approved Language

Here’s how you can describe your offering:

  • âś… “Built for The Social Trainer members”
  • âś… “Recommended vendor for The Social Trainer members”
  • âś… “Used by members of The Social Trainer community”
  • âś… “Support for trainers using The Social Trainer templates”

Do not imply co-ownership or partnership:

  • ❌ “In partnership with The Social Trainer”
  • ❌ “The Social Trainer x [Your Company]”
  • ❌ “An official The Social Trainer add-on”
  • ❌ “Powered by The Social Trainer”

Logo Usage

Our logo may not be used in your materials unless explicitly approved in writing.

Do not:

  • Alter or redesign the The Social Trainer logo
  • Place it alongside your own logo to imply co-branding
  • Use it in promotional content, ads, or landing pages without permission

Visual Design

  • Your website or landing page should:
  • Clearly display your own logo and brand identity
  • Avoid using any visual elements that could make the service appear as part of The Social Trainer
  • Present your offering as an independent service, even if it’s specifically designed for The Social Trainer members

Marketing and Promotion

Unless explicitly approved, you may not:

  • Include The Social Trainer in paid ads, campaigns, or email subject lines
  • Promote the offering as a collaboration or joint launch
  • Use our likeness, platform screenshots, or member content in marketing

You may:

  • Share testimonials from The Social Trainer members (with permission)
  • Mention the service in conversations with our members
  • Describe the service as tailored to or built for our member community

Communicating with TST Members Directly

We don’t allow high-pressure sales or unsolicited outreach in our community. Instead, if you notice someone asking a question and you believe your coaching or product could help, here’s the right way to approach it:

• Reply publicly on their post
• Make your response genuinely valuable — offer advice, share resources, or help solve their problem directly
• If they’re interested, let them reach out to you (they will!)

This approach creates a win-win-win: the original poster gets support, others in the community benefit from your insights, and you position yourself as an expert in your field — naturally attracting the right people.

Here are some Do’s and Don’t’s:

âś… Do:
• Engage in the community by adding value and answering questions.
• Join discussions where members are seeking help in your area of expertise (nutrition, programming, marketing, tech, etc.).
• Let connections grow organically through helpful content and authentic conversation.

🚫 Don’t:
• Post standalone promos, introductions, or self-promotional messages in the group.
• Send cold DMs or direct outreach to members you don’t already know.

Our goal is to maintain a space built on trust, collaboration, and value — not sales tactics.

Promoting Your Offer & Services

We will include your name, offer, and landing page on our TST Membership Perks: Discounts & Recs page, which will feature a handful of trusted partners across different categories relevant to fitness professionals.

The best opportunity to promote your services lives with your own audience who knows, likes, and trusts you. By promoting The Social Trainer and how it complements your service, you earn commissions and sign new clients in your business.

To support additional visibility within the The Social Trainer community you can:

  • Share about TST and your service in reels/stories and tag @thesocialtrainer — we often repost content when tagged and relevant.
  • Apply to co-host a webinar/training within our member community. We’re working on a streamlined process for guest webinars and educational sessions with partners. If you’re interested, you’ll be able to submit your idea and outline through a short form.

Launch Offers

Want to offer a discount or bonus (like 50% off the first month of coaching or waived onboarding fees) for our members? Totally up to you — this is your business, we’re just the connectors!
