This guide walks you through finding video templates in the Content Hub, opening them in the editor, customizing your content, and exporting your finished video.
Finding Video Templates in the Content Hub

All templates and content live in the Content Hub. To find video templates specifically:
- Navigate to Content Hub from your dashboard.
- Use the filter bar at the top to narrow down what you see:
- Content Type tabs — Filter by format like Reels, Stories, or Feed Posts.
- TST Editor filter — Click the Film icon in the quick-filter bar to show only video templates that can be opened in the editor. This is the fastest way to find editable video content.
- Content Category — Filter by topic like Motivation, Education, etc.
- Target Audience — Filter by who the content is designed for.
- Favorites — Click the Heart icon to show only templates you've favorited.
- Unused — Click the Checkbox icon to show only templates you haven't used yet.
- To clear all filters at once, click the Reset button that appears when any filter is active.
Opening a Template

- Click any template card in the grid to open its preview panel.
- The preview shows the template media, a description, instructions, and an example caption.
- Click "Open in Editor" to launch the video editor with that template loaded.
- If you've edited this template before, you'll be asked whether to continue your existing project or start a new one.
From the preview panel you can also:
- Favorite the template (Heart icon) to save it for later
- Mark as used (Checkbox icon) to track what you've already worked with
- Copy the example caption or generate a new one with AI (Pro feature)
Basic Mode vs. Advanced Mode

The editor has two editing modes. If a template supports both, you'll see a Basic / Advanced toggle in the top toolbar. You can switch between them at any time without losing your work.
Basic Mode

Basic mode shows a simple "Fill Your Content" panel on the right side. It only displays the parts of the template that are meant to be customized — called "slots."
- For text slots, you'll see a text field where you type your own headline, caption, or call-to-action.
- For image and video slots, you'll see a thumbnail preview with a "Click to replace" prompt. Click to open the media browser and swap in your own file.
- Video slots also have a settings icon for adjusting trim and other options.
The template's design, animations, fonts, and layout stay locked so the result always looks professional. This is the fastest way to create content.
Advanced Mode

Advanced mode gives you full control over the entire template. The editor expands to show:
- Left toolbar — Add new layers: Text, Media (images and video), or Shapes.
- Center canvas — A live preview where you can click and drag layers to reposition and resize them.
- Bottom timeline — Arrange layers over time. Drag clips to change timing, resize edges to change duration, and reorder rows to change which layers appear in front.
- Right properties panel — Edit the selected layer's position, size, opacity, rotation, font, color, animations, and more.
- Undo / Redo — Step through your edit history if you make a mistake.
Use Basic mode for quick personalization, and switch to Advanced when you need more creative control.
Exporting Your Video

- When you're happy with your video, click the Export button in the top-right corner of the toolbar.
- The editor will automatically save your project first, then start rendering your video in the cloud.
- A progress panel appears in the bottom-right corner showing the render status and a progress bar.
- You can navigate away from the editor while it renders — the export continues in the background and you'll be notified when it's done.
- When rendering is complete, your video automatically downloads to your device.
Sending the Video to Your Phone
After the export finishes, a QR code dialog appears automatically. Open your phone's camera, scan the code, and download the video straight to your device — ready to post to Instagram, TikTok, or any other platform.
You can also reopen the QR code later by clicking the QR icon in the export progress panel, or click the Download icon to download the file again.
Saving Your Work

Click Save in the top toolbar at any time to save your progress. The button shows "Unsaved" when you have changes that haven't been saved yet, and switches to "Saved" once everything is up to date. Your project is saved to your account so you can close the editor and come back later to continue where you left off.
