Keeping your text colors consistent with your brand is easy in Canva. Whether you want to match your brand kit or pick a custom color, Canva gives you several options to style your text.

Step 1: Select the Text

  • Highlight the text you want to change in your design.

Step 2: Open Text Color Options

  • Click the Text Color button in the top toolbar.
  • Canva will show:
    • Document colors (colors already used in your design)
    • Brand kit colors (if you have Canva Pro)
    • Color wheel for custom selection

Step 3: Choose a Color

  • From your brand kit: Select a preset color for consistent branding.
  • Custom color: Use the color wheel to pick any shade you like.
  • Exact color match: Enter a hex code to use the precise color you want, even without Canva Pro.

Tip

  • You can set up multiple brand kits in Canva Pro if you manage different brands or styles.
  • Using hex codes is a great way to ensure your text perfectly matches your brand colors, even on free Canva accounts.

Bottom Line

By highlighting text and using the color tools, you can quickly style your text to match your brand or design vision. This keeps your templates professional and visually consistent across posts, guides, and promotional content.
