Cookie Policy

Effective Date: October 6, 2026

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small files a website keeps in your browser so it can remember you between pages and visits. We use a few that the site needs in order to work, and a few for advertising. This page lists all of them.

2. Your Privacy Choices

You can turn advertising cookies on or off here at any time. The choice is saved in this browser.

If you are in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, advertising cookies are off unless you have said yes. Everywhere else they are on unless you turn them off here, or your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, which we treat as a no.

3. Cookies the Site Needs

These keep you signed in, keep payments safe, and remember your settings. The site doesn’t work without them, so they can’t be turned off here.

Sign-in from Firebase (Google)

Keeps you signed in to your account. Kept in your browser’s storage rather than as a cookie.

Lasts: Until you sign out

sidebar_state from The Social Trainer

Remembers whether you left the app’s side menu open or closed.

Lasts: 7 days

st_consent, st_consent_region from The Social Trainer

Remember your answer about advertising cookies, and whether we need to ask.

Lasts: 1 year

st_client_… from The Social Trainer

On a trainer’s page: keeps a buyer signed in to what they bought.

Lasts: 90 days, or until you sign out

st_checkout_… from The Social Trainer

On a trainer’s page: ties a payment to the browser that started it, so nobody else can claim it.

Lasts: 1 day

Stripe cookies from Stripe

Set on the payment page to process your payment and prevent fraud.

Lasts: Up to 2 years

4. Advertising Cookies

These tell us which of our ads and links bring people to The Social Trainer. Meta and TikTok may also use what their pixels collect for their own advertising, as their privacy policies describe. We never load them on a trainer’s storefront.

tst_attr from The Social Trainer

Records how you first found us (for example, which ad or link), so we know which of our marketing works.

Lasts: 180 days

_fbp from Meta (Facebook, Instagram)

The Meta pixel. Tells Meta that someone who saw one of our ads visited or signed up, and lets us show ads to people who have visited.

Lasts: 90 days

_ttp from TikTok

The TikTok pixel. Does the same job for our TikTok ads.

Lasts: 13 months

5. Videos

Some pages show videos hosted by YouTube or another video site. For YouTube we use its privacy-enhanced mode, which doesn’t set tracking cookies unless you play the video. Once you press play, the video site’s own cookies and privacy policy apply.

6. Your Browser’s Controls

Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies in its settings. If you block the cookies in section 3, you won’t be able to sign in or pay.
