AI Settings: your business, voice and guardrails

What each field in Settings → AI Settings and Trainer Profile does, which features read them, and how to fill them in so generated captions and rewrites sound like you rather than like a template.

Updated September 3, 2026All of Your brand and voice

Two tabs in Settings tell the AI who you are. Everything the product writes for you — captions, rewritten slide copy — is built from them, so twenty minutes here is the difference between "generic fitness caption" and something you'd actually post.

Trainer Profile

Settings → Trainer Profile: identity and positioning fields

Facts about you and your business. They anchor what the AI writes: a caption or a rewritten slide names your business, your program and your city because they're here.

  • Identity — display name (what you're called in captions: "Coach Mike"), business

name, Instagram handle, website, city and state.

  • Positioning — your niche in one line ("helping busy moms lose 20+ lbs with at-home

workouts"), what makes you different, and your signature program or service.

Write these the way you'd say them to a client, not like a bio. The AI reuses your phrasing. If you have a website, Get brand identity from website at the top of Settings drafts the descriptions from it — a starting point to edit, not a finished profile.

AI Settings

Settings → AI Settings: business description, audience, brand voice, caption personality and hashtags

How the AI should write, in four cards:

Your Business — a description of what you do and a description of your target audience: who they are, what they want, what they struggle with. The audience field does the most work of any setting; captions are written to that person.

Voice & Personality

  • Brand voice — one of Professional, Casual, Friendly, Authoritative, Playful or

Inspirational. This sets the register.

  • Caption personality — traits you can stack: motivational, no-BS, funny,

educational, empathetic, hype, storyteller, scientific, relatable, vulnerable. Two or three is right; ticking everything cancels out.

  • Preferred CTAs — the calls to action you actually use: DM me, link in bio, book a

call, free consultation, comment below, save this, share this, tag a friend. Generated captions end with one of these instead of inventing one.

  • Sample caption — paste a caption you wrote and liked. The AI matches its rhythm,

length and punctuation, which does more for "sounding like you" than any of the dropdowns.

Hashtags & Guardrails

  • Avoid topics — things the AI must not bring up. Diet claims, competitor names,

anything your certification says you shouldn't discuss.

  • Go-to hashtags — your standard set. Every generated caption ends with three to

five hashtags, and when this list exists they're picked from it.

SEO Keywords — words you want to appear in captions and scripts. AI Suggestions proposes some from your profile; click to add, or type your own.

Fill in the audience description and the sample caption first. If you only do two things on these tabs, those two change the output the most.
