No. The Social Trainer doesn't post to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X or TikTok for you. Nothing goes out under your name unless you post it.
What it does is get the finished file and the caption onto your phone at the right moment, so posting takes a minute.
What scheduling does
- The post goes on your Content Calendar at the time you picked.
- Shortly before then — 30 minutes by default — you get a reminder email with the file and
the caption.
- If you've turned on the morning digest, it's also in the 7am email that day.
The reminder email
- When and where the post is due.
- A preview of the post.
- Your caption, ready to copy.
- Get your post — opens the file, ready to save to your phone.
The file is your newest export of that project, unless you picked a specific one when you scheduled. So if you fix a typo and export again the night before, the reminder brings the fixed version.
Scheduled something you never exported? The reminder says so, with a link back to the editor.
When it arrives
- How early — set in Settings → Account, under Notifications → Send it.
- Not for suggestions — posts Auto Populate added that you haven't touched don't send
reminders.
- Only if reminders are on — they are by default.
Then you post
Open the reminder on your phone, save the file, copy the caption, and post it in the app. For an Instagram carousel: + → Post, select the images in order, paste the caption, share.
