Use the same method you signed up with
There are two ways in: Sign in with Google, or email and password. They're separate. An account created with Google has no password, so typing one won't work — use the Google button. An account created with a password isn't linked to Google — use the form.
If you don't remember which, try Google first. It either signs you in or tells you there's no account for it.
Wrong password, or "invalid credentials"
Use Forgot password on the login page. The reset email goes to the address you signed up with — check spam if it hasn't arrived in a few minutes — and the link in it sets a new password.
"Too many attempts"
After several wrong passwords in a row, sign-in is paused for a while as a protection. Wait fifteen minutes, or use Forgot password, which works straight away.
No account for that email
You signed up with a different address, or with Google. Try your other addresses, and try the Google button.
"Verify your email"
The banner at the top of the app after signing up asks you to confirm your address. It doesn't lock you out of anything — you can use the whole product without it — but reminders and receipts go to that address, so it's worth doing. Resend in the banner sends the link again; check spam.
Still stuck
Send us a message from the address you think the account is under, and we'll find it.
