Changing the words
In Basic mode, type over each line under Your words. In Advanced mode, select the text on the preview or the timeline and edit it in the Layers tab.
Adding text
In Advanced mode, click Text in the tool rail. Add text gives you a quick heading, subheading or body text, plus ready-made font styles and looks.
The new text appears on the timeline at the playhead. Drag its ends to set how long it stays on screen.
Animating text
Select the text and open its Animation section in the Layers tab. Browse shows the animations — how the text comes in and goes out.
Music
Click Audio in the tool rail.
- Music — our library, sorted by mood. Play a track to hear it, then click Use.
- Your audio — sound from your own clips and uploads. Use my own music uploads a
track.
The music lands on its own track under your clips. Drag its ends to trim it, and use the speaker on the track to mute it.
A template's music is picked to fit its cuts. Swap it if you like, but check the cuts still land on the beat.
