My export is stuck or failed

An image export is made in your browser and downloads immediately — there's no waiting. If nothing appears after Export:

• Check the browser didn't block the download. A carousel downloads as a zip named

after the project; some browsers ask before saving a zip.

• Open Settings → Exports. If the export is listed there, it worked and the browser

just didn't show you the file — download it from the row.

• Otherwise, export again.

Reels

A reel is rendered on our servers, so the Exports panel at the bottom right is the whole story. What it shows, in order:

1. Saving your changes… then Starting… — normal, a few seconds.
2. A shimmering bar with no number — also normal. The render hasn't reported a percentage

yet.

1. Rendering… 40% — the number moves as the render works through the clips.
2. Complete! — with a download button and a QR button. The card clears itself after a

while; the file stays in Settings → Exports.

A typical reel takes a couple of minutes. Longer reels and more clips take longer. You can close the tab; the render carries on and the panel picks it back up when you return — it'll say Still exporting · started 3m ago until the next progress report.

When it's actually stuck

If the percentage hasn't moved in ten minutes, or nothing has appeared after five, treat it as stuck:

1. Click ✕ on the card — Stop watching this export.
2. Press Export again.

That's usually all it takes. Nothing about your project is lost either way.

When it says "Export failed"

Export again first — a one-off failure usually doesn't repeat. If it fails a second time, the likeliest cause is one clip the renderer couldn't read: a damaged file, or an unusual format. Replace the clip you added most recently and try again.

If it still fails, send us a message with the project name and roughly when it failed, and we'll look at the render itself.
